LYFDTW!#1 - WRESTLING / Champions League split 7”

WRESTLING are Wolverhampton’s premier punk band peddling their own brand of honest, Black Country (and Lord of the Rings) influenced emo. Following on from their now sold out 5-track ‘Wolf-Town Tape’ they have recorded a new track showcasing a more progressive and matured sound but still retaining the energetic, scrambled fun of the first release.

Champions League is a 3-piece “international-skramz” band. They’re 2 parts Wolverhampton with 1 part Afghanistan. These 5, sub-one minute, tracks were written, demo’d and recorded in 3 brief jam sessions during Jade’s (singer + guitarists) down time from working in Afghanistan. This is a record about friends, fun, grey hairs, distance but more importantly HOME.

This will be a split release with the awesome Quiet City Records it will also come with a mini ‘zine and a CD containing additional tracks and videos for some of the Champions League songs; these were filmed and edited by Jade from Champions League. It has some great artwork by Lew (of Nai Harvest / Grazes fame).
